Synopsis
After succeeding in their winter conflict against Taiju Shiba and his Black Dragons, the Tokyo Manji Gang absorbs their group's remaining members. Due to his heroic courage and indomitable spirit, Takemichi Hanagaki should have accomplished his goal of defeating the tragic fate awaiting his girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana. In reality, Takemichi's troubles are far from over. Although Takemichi's actions have exposed Tetta Kisaki's treachery, the conniving schemer has found power elsewhere: Tenjiku, a dangerous gang led by the enigmatic Izana Kurokawa. Izana sets his sights on Manjirou "Mikey" Sano, pursuing a vicious interest in the Tokyo Manji Gang's aloof leader. In the future, Takemichi discovers that the machinations of Izana and Kisaki led to Mikey's moral ruin—a downfall that directly results in Hinata's death. Unfortunately, a terrible loss robs Takemichi of his time-leaping ability, stranding him in the past with one final chance to rescue everyone he loves. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku-hen With the second and currently final season of Tokyo Revengers, the anime continued its mental torture. Although the main character Takimichi has become more bearable and had a cool moment for the first time in the entire series, it hasn't helped the series any further. Once again, Tokyo Revengers doesn't know what it's supposed to be, it tries everything possible to somehow seem ‘good’. You can accept time travel and all that nonsense. But when the anime suddenly turned into a shounen where people had superpowers and could move at the speed of sound, my brain cells were gone. Everything the author tried todo was a disaster. And I liked the anime despite its flaws. It was just entertaining in a bad way. So much could have been done with the manga and anime, but this was apparently the wish of no one else except the people who gave up on the first season. However, I do give the anime credit for giving Kisaki's kind of a pretty interesting ending, as well as the final confrontation. Was interesting, well done. My personal rating 6

The first part of the season atleast to me felt like a drag. It felt like the same things repeated and felt like a small repeat of plot, like from back in season 1 and the whole valhalla and toman conflict just bigger. i DO THINK however that nearing its end it ended up picking back up and actually surpassed the other seasons by a margin. A lot more expansion of the story and the world and the lore, and it was nice to see other characters be involved and be a part of things than just mikey and draken. The animation also picked up,and the fights were actually somewhat satisfying to watch although it did bounce around between decent animation and then going back to png dragged across screen animation (Not literally) however, I praised the amount of characters involved this season but also felt at times it came out of nowhere and could be a bit much, same with some character motivations, of course wont talk about those in detail because spoilers. Now, the ending? Very good. One of the more satisfying endings to an arc probably the most satisfying ending to one so far in tokyo revengers entire anime run so far. And it does make me want a new season so it did its job well.

The first two Seasons were great. I also read the whole Manga, but I won't spoiler anything. As I said, Season one and two were really fantastic. The Story is really good, the characters are really well written But the Animation is just not really great. Tenjiku Arc is one of my favourites, so it's sad to see that they didn't Animate it very well. During the fights, every two minutes you can see some useless reactions from Characters. Someone does something good or bad -> every character (that is important) gets a reaction and they make weird noises. After a while it's really annoying andit seems like that the studio only did that so the Episode is longer. In the Background (during fights) Characters do like 1 or 2 poses where they fight. And that repeats itself for until the next shot comes in. Kind of lame to see that. Makes it look really weird. The Story is really really good and the Plot twists are really great and the Characters are written VERY good. Also the OP was a banger. Conclusion: I love Tokyo Revengers and it's a really good Anime. But this Season was not really good animated. Good Characters, good Story, good Music. Would have given a 9 if the Animation was a bit better.

Although I still like Tokyo Revengers, I do feel that the desire I have to see it is spreading more and more and I simply wait for it to arrive and I'll see it. This has meant that events that occur in season 1 or even some of season 2 have been forgotten in a certain part. That, obviously, is not the fault of the anime, which has had a decent publication, but mine. In any case... season 3 of TR is more of what we've already seen, drama between gangs, with Takemichi as the focal point of the plot. Mikey, for his part, also has hisleading role in this season, which reveals even more about why he acts the way he acts, although without making everything clear. And then, of course, Kisaki as someone you want to give a shit to in time for him to stop being a tremendous idiot. But you love him the same, I guess. I just know that Chifuyu is everything that is right in this life, and that it is still a very nice series to watch. Recommended. Recomendada.

By far better than previous seasons, Takemichi finally feels like a protagonist worth rooting for. It still has its flaws and feels repetitive at times, but the story and Takemichi tenacity really made it worth it. The animation isn’tas flashy but does the job. Character motivations feel in line but some points did make me feel like a few more episodes wouldn’t have made some decisions feel spontaneous. All of this is held together with a good story. Also the new characters introduced here are great! If you didn’t like this show before, you might still not but if you were on the fenceafter season 2, this is worth a shot. I wasn’t as invested in starting season 3 after the Christmas arc, but I’m glad I did. I hope this is not the peak of Tokyo revengers I would love to see it get even better if we get future seasons

I usually don't give reviews out to series I have already reviewed earlier, especially since my opinion hasn't changed too much. But, for this anime, I certainly think it's time to make an overall impression. I'd say that the anime starts out relatively strong with season 1. Even then, the time travel mechanic was super suspect. It's never abused the way it should be by people that have any actual semblance of a brain, and things that should have been caught onto with time traveling to the future does not get explained until the event happens in the present. However, and I said this in season1, but if you frame the show in a way that just has Takemitchy be a normal shounen protagonist without powers, the show becomes a braindead, but fun show about high school hoodlums fighting it out against each other. In a way, I appreciate this over shows with superpowers, because the fact that there is nonstop fighting makes a lot of sense when you put it in the context of aggressive gangs fighting over each other. I'd also like to point out how even an average adaptation like this one can really make the show shine. I read the manga, and I have to say that it was extremely boring. Despite being the same material, the anime brings out something that the manga did not. And it's not like I'm going to be gushing over the animation. In fact, most fights are really short, unsatisfactory, or slideshows. Even so, it's average. Maybe below average. The voice acting is good, no complaints there. Storyboarding, choreography are very standard and mimic the manga, and yet the drama that unfolds on the screen is much better than the manga. I mean, the manga was so boring I actually forgot what happened, so watching it in the anime again felt like watching it for the first time. Overall, this shows the power of even just having a mediocre adaptation can make a series watchable.

I have so many mixed feelings with this anime. On the one hand, it was plucky and interesting with a twist I never expected. On the other hand, it was the most frustrating anime I have ever watched. I can't tell if that was a stroke of genius or just unending annoyance. The characters were decent, but the main character was hard for me to connect with and seemed to have no redeeming qualities outside of his tenacity. I found most of the other characters more interesting. The plot was well paced yet I found myself enjoying the earlier arcs more than this past one, perhaps because more was on the line and the constantly failing main character just couldn't seem to get it right for most things. I'm not entirely sure if this is the end of the story because I haven't read the manga and don't plan to, but if so...it was kinda shitty and left me with more questions than answers at this point. I think part of the reason I can't decide how I feel about this anime is because I'm not a huge fan of the hoodlum trope. I never quite understood what they were fighting for besides the fact that they were emotionally repressed young boys whose only outlet was throwing their fists at each other. There was some family feels mixed into their hoodlum antics but not enough for me to say it helped make the whole idea work. Some people might enjoy it, others may not. I say give it a shot and see for yourself.

Review will contain major spoilers but in a separate tag. I intend to make this review readable to those that are not caught up with the season. Thus I am unmarking the spoiler warning. 1) Story The story was not great but it was not bad either. However it was close to bad. In terms of plot points, the story was good. If you consider the major points, there were times when some unexpected things happened. However, the transition from one point to another was not that enjoyable. Partially because the season seemed stretched with too much repetition and back stories. If instead of making this aseason, this should have been made a 3+ hours it would have done better. Then there are other plot holes too like [spoiler 1.] which did not make sense to me. 7/10 2) Art Usually I talk about character design etc. but this is the 3rd season for the anime so of course that much is settled. However, there were issues with animations, which were quite expected. There was not much time between 2nd and 3rd season so it really shows where they lacked. Repetition, frames taking longer than they should have is also a part of it. "I do not want to see the characters gasp for like 10 seconds!" was what I wanted to yell at some point. The opening and ending animation also didn't get much attention. It seemed they just googled "How to create anime op/ed shots" and just followed whatever popped up. 5/10 3)Sound Again, I will only talk about what I didn't like. [spoiler 2.] was the point where even the main OST seemed streched. To be honest, the ending song couldn't capture much of my attention either. However, what I didn't like the most, with repeated frames, it seemed they reused the gasps too. There are points even in the main show down where it felt low effort. Sure the animation did play a crucial role in ruining it but still, even the voice acting felt low effort. 5/10 4)Character Main hero still doesn't get character development. He is still a cry baby. He still lacks the fighting skills. He still lacks the strength. I actually feel bad because in all the fights, he has been a punching bad. At one point, he did start to train, or at least tried to train himself. Why not follow up on that? Last season had a good bit where he exhausted Taiju and eventually brought him to his knee with a punch. I was expecting more of that in this season, if not more. I will not oversee the new character development in Draken and Mikey when [spoiler 3.], I think that bit was good. But it could not outshine the sun of disappointment. 2/10 5)Enjoyment I felt mostly bored. Had I not planned to watch each season, I would have dropped it long ago. The plot holes were too much for me. Even if they planned to reuse the frames, it is ok by me. But I feel like I watched flashbacks half of this season, with some serious issues with the story. 3/10 6) Overall Not an impactful anime. It lacked depth in the story and could not captivate me. It ended on a somewhat decent note but that was not enough. 5/10 // ---------- Spoiler ---------- This is the paragraph in which I will talk about the spoilers. The spoilers are numbered so that you can make sense of what I was talking about in the review. 1. MC getting shot and still catching the villan, Angry still fighting when his leg was broken, Kakucho dying on the spot but still ended up living, Mikey getting shot in the head and still giving death speech (tho it was in the last season I think), and others. 2. Takemichi chasing down Kisaki. The OST seemed really steched at that point. 3. Hinata tells Draken and Mikey that Takemichi is time travelling. Above were discussed in the review. The plot points that I think went well are: a) Emma's death. I was certainly not expecting that to happen. b) Draken and Mikey are told the truth about Takemichi. c) The reason Hinata keeps dying, and Kisaki's intentions for everything. d) Chifuyu tells Takemichi to get over the trauma, and use the time travelling to his advantage to know about the mistakes of the past and correct them in the present.

This season lifted up muy enjoyment of the show quite a lot after a quite bland second season. The problems of the show are still there, the main character is still the worst character ever, for no reason everyone else takes him seriously for no apparent reason, and the main villain is smarter than everyone else. But the new characters and some of the events happening here are quite interesting. Lets say that this season is more similar to the first one than to the seconds one. Still a lot of nonsense, but it’s entertaining and the characters are somehow interesting to watch. The endingis abrupt but, personally, with all the nonsense in this show, that didn’t bother me so much. Knowing that the ending of the manga has been very criticized by the community, I’m a little scared about following seasons, but we’ll see what happens. So far it’s been interesting enough for a watch despite being a show cemented on a very fragile argument.

Tokyo Revengers is one of my favourite series, I've already completed the manga and even though it's not the best, it has a pretty nice and exciting story with enjoyable characters. Here we're talking about the anime adaptation though, and compared to the manga unfortunately, LidensFilm didn't make a good job, but not only in this season, in the previous ones too... The biggest problem is probably the animation, sometimes it's good while others is really terrible. The movement, the fight animations, the most important part when it comes to this type of anime, are pretty bad, I don't know if it's a budget problem or if it'sthe "choreography" that sucks, but I honestly can't say that they look good (beside some scenes). The anime is also pretty famous for ruining famous scenes from the manga, season 2 already did a terrible job at this, but this one, even if I've seen worst, doesn't redeem itself, especially with the last episode that has probably one of the most important scenes in the story. The story itself isn't bad, this arc is for me one of the best ones. One thing that I really liked was the ED song, it's well animated and it's really good (can't say the same for the opening, at least not for the animation part because it's just a slideshow). I don't know if they'll continue the adaptation of this series but I really hope so, I mean we already have 3 seasons so let's just finish it at this point. Unfortunately the manga kinda fell off after this arc and the anime lost a lot of its popularity, maybe also because it's locked behind Disney+ Idk, but it still remains a nice and enjoyable anime/manga with cool plot twists, especially in the latest arcs. Anyway, if you're asking yourself why I gave it an 8, it's because like I said, I still found it enjoyable, even if it's not a great adaptation (It's more of a 7.5 than a full 8 :P).

HOLY CHOCOLATE THIS SEASON IS LOVE!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES AND SEASON! So exciting!! So much PLOTS TWISTS !! Did not expect that at all!! BUT.... ! It was a great follower from season 2, where they explained more questions which was being asked during season 2. Alot of twist and turns in the story, which is fantastic, i love it. An ending which is WOW, BUT WAIT !! is it really the end now ??? The end season was questionable if there will be a season 4 ! I mean, if they decide to end it at season 3, it would be a decentending, but then i will be left with some questions... So i hope they make season 4 to explain all the questions from this ending. (No i have not read the manga) Music was amazing, i actually really liked the intro and outro this time. it got added to my spotifylist right away ! What i did not like about this season was the intro-video. It contains spoilers for what will happen throughout the anime. Not the ending, but somewhere in the season (not telling where) so that kinda suck,so i will recommend to skip the intro actually if u dont want to be spoiled. total view: I loved this! I loved the whole series, every season, every actions, every story line, every character, every moment i cried, every moment i laughed, and every plot twist.

This season was in my opinion the best of the three, it finally gave us this satisfaction of an ending with a possibility of a return. Great fights all around in my opinion and a few WTF moments that had me very exited. Talking about angry the dark horse. Very interesting stuff. I love the character design unfortunately you know important characters appart nearly instantly, I would of loved it if there were more normal looking dudes but it wasn't that important to me. Was very close to a 9/10 but I think kisakis reason for doing what he did was trash, a better excusecould of been made, also the ending was very predictable in my opinion.

Good morning, this is my personall review of Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku-hen Plot: 7 I read the manga and Tenjiku's arc has always been my favourite Graphic: 4 The graphic became really bad during this season, it's almost comparable to nnt season 3 Music: 6 The opening remained the same, the ending is okay and the soundtrack are good as the same Characters: 8 Takemichi is such a badass in this season, I enjoyed Izana, Mikey and Kisaki as well Entertainment: 6Since I've already read the manga I know exactly what was going on, however I still enjoyed everything. Overall: 6 I hope in the next season the graphic will change and they will put more effort into everything because Tokyo revengers deserves it. Thank you for reading :)

Today the final episode of Tokyo Manji Kai revengers Tenjiuku Hen has aired and we are all at a loss. What will we do for the next few periods of our lives where there is no Peak revengers news? Tokyo Revengers has always been a series that has transceded human life and is the epitome of story telling, emotions and writing. There are no such flaws and Tenjiku Hen has proves that statement to be held. Every single episodes of this arc has been better than the previous and we finally get to the jaw dropping moments that shattered through the dimensions of the known universeduring the great kanto incident. It is able to grasp the audiences attention with ease and keep you hooked on, with small logical flashbacks teasing you as you progress through this wonderous piece of art. Our qustions are satsifyingly answered and yet we are still kept with awe and eager during each cliff hanger - making you want to dive into the manga. But true fans are patient. The sadness this season has conveyed is like no other and i can guarantee the death of your loved ones is of no match to Tenjiku Hen's least depressing moments. Especially that last episode, man we were all balling our eyes out. As per usual, Liden films never fails to create bangers upon bangers and Tenjiku Hen was crafted to perfection. Drawing Izana kurokawa with a pen in one hand and a pen15 in the other. Tokyo Revengers characters have the coolest desgin and this arc broke the barriers with the most colorful, beautiful charcaters to have ever graced your eyes. The music is second to none and my only negligable, minor critic would be that the ed music shouldve been used for the opening because that really gets you hyped - it had all of us thinking that we were there fighintg for toman. But its understandable that it was kept for the ending in order to keep you even more hooked. I have so much more to say but tokyo manji kai revengers transcends life so i cannot put it into words. I speak for humanity when i say tenjiku hen>ww2

As someone who’s been extremely critical of Tokyo Revengers in the past, I have to give credit where it’s due. This was the best season of the show by a very wide margin. Compelling story, cool villain, stakes, emotional moments and some surprisingly cool moments from the MC made it a very fun watch. While Tokyo Revengers still isn’t a paradigm of great writing, the author managed to get the storybeats write for this Tenjiku arc. Coming in to this season I’d heard much praise about this being the best arc and I was skeptical, but fans ended up being right here. This was an enjoyableseason from start to finish fuelled mainly by the circumstances facing Toman. Backs against the wall against a seemingly unstoppable and ruthless enemy in Tenjiku, led by an antagonist with personal connections to Mikey and his family. Because of those circumstances, Takemichi was forced to really step up and be a proper MC for once. Searching out allies, rallying Toman’s forces and leading them into a pretty epic final battle. He’s consistently been one of my biggest criticisms of the story, but I have to give it to him, Takemichi was solid in this season. Yea he’s still an idiot at times and some of his actions still don’t make sense considering he’s 26 years old, but he’s got heart and will keep fighting to ensure everyone gets the best resolution possible. In the Tenjiku arc in particular, that really culminates with an amazing final few episodes where his resilience in the face of insurmountable odds is on full display. Taking punch after punch, the guy just doesn’t give up. The weakest of the bunch, but the strongest heart. I can’t lie, I got goosebumps from some of his speeches and bravery. He’ll never be one of my fave MCs, but if I can criticise him, I also need to be able to praise him when he’s doing well. This season’s brutal. It’s not afraid to kill off characters which I really appreciate. There’s a few scenes where I was certain an asspull would occur to save a character and it didn’t. It gives a weight to the story when you know popular/important characters might not make it out alive. While we’ve seen characters die before in this show, it’s been a while and it’s never been in the brutal ways you see in this season. I mean my jaw was on the floor for some of this. There’s a ton of action as well which make for a nonstop roller coaster ride. Of course the animation isn’t the best for those scenes, but we’ll get into that in a bit. I think this season started bringing together a lot of the future and past plotlines in the series. Learning about Mikey, his brother, black dragon, Toman, Izana and the truth about their past helps explain why things turn out the way they do in the future. While Takemichi still doesn’t have the ideal future he wants, we certainly have a clearer direction of how to achieve that goal now thanks to the reveals in this season. There’s still the usual need to suspend disbelief when watching this series because of teenagers with guns, starting brawls, killing people, etc. But at this point I’ve accepted Tokyo Revengers will always be a series that you just have to turn you brain off to truly enjoy. Don’t look for logic here. I’ll say this is the easiest season to do it in as well because the story is pretty damn good. As usual, animation is really bad in this during most action scenes with the exception of the final two episodes which I found to be pretty good. I really don’t know how they can’t get things right with this series because it’s really popular and you’d think they’d have ample staff on it.. just always looks so stiff and choppy and facial models are often off. Tokyo Revengers Tenjiku Hen is a substantial improvement over the last couple seasons in my opinion. Best antagonist so far, gripping emotional storybeats with some actually cool plot twists and gritty action. If they can keep this going, they’re in good shape. Tokyo Revengers Tenjiku Hen gets 8 out of 10
