Scissor Seven is a show that I really liked when I first picked it up, but I had no idea how much I would love it over time. It is...so funny to me, like almost embarrassingly so. Would you believe I have laughed several times, aloud? Not a weird half smile, but a laugh. This arc also had particularly beautiful animation, especially the intro and outro. After finishing it, I'm tempted to rewatch the whole series to appreciate things I maybe missed the first time around. Worth noting is that despite the lengthy list of Japanese anime I've watched, I tend to love the voiceacting in donghua the most. It's really hard to go from Chinese voice acting to Japanese without feeling like you've lost something.

Quite a strong season. The show has dipped much more in the realm of drama rather than comedy, and it does a pretty good job at that. I love the fight scenes, the production, the eventual jokes, and the plot are all as good as it gets. My only two reprimands are that the eps in which Seven isn't the protagonist are not as great (besides ep 10) and this season rly could have used an ep 0 recap. Overall, great shonnen, one of the best. mal wants me to add more words, what is dumb as this is literally the fourth season and I don't want to spoil anything. Please mal, let me write as I see fit!!

English. How great this fourth season is, not only did it increase the quality of the story, focusing on what matters, which is Seven's amnesia and the disorganization of the League of Assassins, it also gives us a story that does not leave aside the secondary characters. of this story. You will already know what I will say next but the animation is beautiful, here they hardly experiment with different types of animation, they focus more on what is a fluid animation with a lot of detail but with the anime style, even though it seems bad to me It was the best, they focused alltheir effort on this and it really worked very well for them. The end of this season will leave you super restless to know what's next but at the same time I feel that with only 10 episodes they gave us what was fair and necessary, they gave us interesting stories, memorable characters and epic fights, which is what most will look for. . If you loved the previous seasons like I did, you shouldn't miss this season because in my opinion they are creating a direct path to what will be the last of the series without a doubt and you will love it as I loved it.

Assasscissornation. Scissor Seven’s fourth season continues to do whatever the hell it likes as long as it’s weird and for some reason I still enjoy it. The incredible fun action and animation balanced out with its strange sense of humour that sometimes breaks the fourth wall and its terrible English voice dub all culminated to give Scissor Seven this bizarre, strangely perfect charm on par with the first Deadly Premonition video game. Not only that, each episode ranges from ten to fifteen minutes and its fast pace makes it very binge-able. You could sit down, have a blast and get through a whole season in overan hour. The fourth season suffers a bit by having its narrative stretched in too many directions. There are a lot of characters in this show and not all of them are created equal so when there’s an episode that focuses on one of the least interesting characters it doesn’t hit quite as well. Of course, we are at season four and if you’re someone who has watched and enjoyed the last three then you’ll probably enjoy season four: Shadow Fate. If you’ve never watched Scissors Seven and are interested in bizarre niche anime (like, actual niche, not niche because it’s shit) then I highly recommend giving it a go. 7/10 Good.

My favorite Chinese anime series is back and I was pumped throughout. Largely feels like a journey to the next major set piece, though it's quite the journey, featuring some big moments that are likely to shake many events going forward. It has some of the personal touches that made S3 so strong, but the characteristic humor just isn't as solid this season as it normally is (it's sorely missed, even if it would feel out of place in some scenes) and delving into side characters - though necessary for certain elements of the plot - ends up feeling more hollow that events focused onour central characters. Still, when this season pops off, as it absolutely does with Silver Fox and Green Phoenix, it's well worth the wait... though now I'm sad that it'll be a while. Apparently a movie is coming at some point, so we'll see.

Honestly, I don't know what to review about this one. It was both confusing and boring, yet it was slightly entertaining. There are two things I hate about this anime: 1. The fact that the side stories (time wasters) take up half or at times the whole episode. 2. The fact that the seasons ALWAYS end at the most unexpected times ever. Each season ends so abruptly. This season ended in the middle of a fight... Not going to lie, this anime was boring during season one, I waited for season 2, and it got better, but was still boring, waited for season 3, and the anime gotbetter, and now we have this season... This season feels like it's boring just like seasons 1 and 2 but has excitement like season 3, kind of. Every single time the seasons end, I get a feeling like I wasted my time. I might drop it because this season had very little character progression on the main character. This one was mainly about the MC's teacher, which contradicts the whole Synopsis. Season 4 feels like a whole filler season to keep their yearly season releases up. In all honesty, don't look at reviews to see if a show is good or not, watch it and read reviews afterward to see if you actually relate with the review writers.

I was hoping that one of my most highly anticipated Donghua would deliver and it most definitely did. The 4th season of Wu Liuqi or widely known by the English name, Scissors Seven, feels like a perfect continuation of the rest of the series. Anyone who has watched the previous 3 seasons will understand that the show often progresses in a more non-linear fashion and often takes an entire episode to flesh out random side characters that may have been forgotten from the start of the series. This trope may seem like an awful idea to continue with, as most are excited for the continuationof the main storyline, but Wu Luiqi makes what seems like a filler episode fit seamlessly into the grand scheme of the plotline. In addition to a continuation of the storytelling style, this installment keeps up with the amazing OSTs and animation of the previous seasons which set the bar extremely high. Anyone who enjoyed the past installments will love every minute of the show. The only negative I can say is that, much like previous seasons, the show ends on what feels like a midway point rather than an actual end. Don't let this stop you from watching though, as every second is worth your time.

Again a great experience! We must congratulate those responsible for delivering a work like this in the present day. The highest quality of the series has been preserved. The valuation and quality of the characters were again perfect, showing that all characters are important in the plot. This time the author followed the story in a non-linear way, which was interesting, and certainly different from the other seasons, which were linear. But it is a fact that this even causes a change in protagonism, an attitude that valued the series. Even though it is not the favourite season of many, it is certainly still adifferentiated work. It's important that scissor seven never loses its essence, the comedy. Even though the anime has good action moments, the comedy and the OST are what make scissor seven what it is. Therefore, if you are looking for an anime that innovates in a genre that is difficult to innovate, watch scissor seven season 4.
