Synopsis
Every Thursday, Shuchiin Academy student council secretary Yuu Ishigami can be found in a state of anxiety. He counts down the hours until he can escape to the student council chamber to read the latest chapter of the popular seinen manga series, "Momo Doesn't Think." Joining Ishigami in his weekly reading, student council president Miyuki Shirogane swiftly grows excited at the news of a third season of the manga's anime adaptation. However, it is only a matter of time before vice president Kaguya Shinomiya discovers what has been engrossing the two boys. With the stigma of being labeled an otaku looming over his head, Shirogane must do everything he can to keep his embarrassing secret from coming to light. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

This is the promotional video for the third season of Kaguya-sama but don't write it off too quickly because it's actually worth watching. This isn't a traditional PV but instead it's a normal kaguya skit in which Miyuki and Yuu get excited over the third season adaptation announcement of a manga they've been reading. Aside from this specific topic it's just another kaguya-sama skit. The characters are the student council members. The animation, voice acting and sound are all the same or similar as the previous two seasons. Overall this is just more content for the anime and certainly worth watching if you enjoyed the previoustwo seasons, even if it doubles as a PV.

This is literally the first time I laughed On a fucking PV Story : 8/10 Ishigami is a weeb. Shirogane is a weeb. Shirogane gets exposed. Ishigami betrays. War. That's itVisual : 8/10 The animation and art looks pretty decent tho, but they really capture the emotions perfectly, which increases the funny Sound : 10/10 The music is so dramatic which is dramatic as hell. The voice actors nailed it. They did this, for a fucking PV Other : 10/10 As (not) a weeb, I find this skit hilarious more than Kaguya's average skit 9/10 I think I am having a bad taste at joke for giving this one higher score than any other kaguya sama projects, but this is just my honest review Time to get cancelled

This is the best promotional video I have ever seen, and all without spoiling a single second of the third season. To put it simply, it shows off why you'd want to watch the next season by adapting a chapter of the manga as it own 9 minute PV. Usually a pv is just a bunch of scenes and shots cut from the main anime to act as a teaser, this isn't. In effect this is effectively half of an episode. It is absolutely hilarious and showcases the care and thought the studio puts into each episode in regards to the comedy part of this romcom.Genuinely, this is a PV you should put into the watch order because it's so damn good.

Never in my days did I imagine that a PV of all things would be the first anime to match Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai at a 10/10 on my list, but this did it. Everything that the OVA hadn't already peaked in has been pushed to its absolute limits in this nuts to butts experience of sheer, outstanding zaniness, and I cannot stress that enough; EVERYTHING has been pushed to its limits. The animation is more fluid than it has ever been, the voice acting makes me wonder why the VAs were holding back so much in their first already ridiculous performance, and the story was of absolutely zero importance, but the fact that they developed it at all is worthy of a 10 to me. Season three was already airing when I saw this in its entirety, and it got me hyped up for something I was already watching. This PV was quite literally a better experience than I've had with every episode of the first season combined. Good god, this is the best.

It's not everyday that you see a PV with so much original content or new animation. You could almost call this a proper mini-episode of Kaguya-sama, albeit with way more meta humor and heavy-handed advertising of future installments. I think the funniest moment was when President was calling everyone out for being weebs, and when Kaguya said Anne of Green Gables was her favorite his instant comeback is "Ha, only a true Otaku would choose something so old and absurdly obscure!" I laughed because my boring older sister who still thinks anime is all just Pokemon and Naruto love Anne of Green Gables (the original bookand live-action movie, not the anime version) and in my mind it's just the epitome of boring old-timey media. I honestly didn't even know there was an anime adaptation, but I wasn't surprised. With anime Romeo and Juliet, and Count of Monte Cristo I'm surprised even more classical western stories don't get adapted. Where's the Cather in the Rye anime. Though I'm not sure even Japan would be able to make that story tolerable. Anyway, good stuff. Can't wait for the next season 8/10

So studios would put on a generic trailer with pre-animated scenes in order to hype up an upcoming series, adding a few fan-favorite moments, slap a narrator on top maybe, throw in some spoilers for that avid Manga readers and call it a day. Heck, some will even have a 5 seconds still image with a fancy dissolve transition and be done with the whole thing, but Kaguya takes things the extra mile even when no one asks for it. This is dedication right here folks. For a show that breaks the 4th wall every time you blink, this was a field trip for the screenwriters.I just love how they took liberties teasing the upcoming season as they discuss the release of the third season for some fictional character only for it to dissolve into a full-fledged, very engaging, and hilarious sitcom that could have been part of any season and still felt natural and belonging.

Since its only part of an episode, there isn't much to say about it, other than its keeping to the style of the previous 2 seasons. If this is what the entire season 3 would be like, it would be a great adaptation of the manga. The best part about it was probably the references to other anime, which i hope doesn't happen too often in the full season, otherwise the humor would be fairly dry. Other than that, its fairly average for the show. The characters, art and music is the same as the other seasons, which I wish they added on to abit, but we will most likely see improvements and changes to the format later.

Funny, exciting, and overall a good adaptation of the singular chapter. If you aren't aware of the original chapter, it's basically identical, but instead of a teaser for season 3, it teases the anime adaptation. Why does this matter that they changed it? Well, I think the original "meta" works a lot better when they're showing "their favourite manga is getting an adaption" rather than "their favourite anime is getting a 3rd season". The metaness lands much more natural and clean in that use. Since I have read the manga and therefore viewing this chapter a 2nd time but instead it's animated, the whole experience justseemed to weakened. I feel like this whole episode just works a lot better, not just in jokes, but in enjoyment as a manga chapter rather than in animated form, and since it's an announcement chapter, it only works one time round, and can't be rewatched with the same joy since the meta is gone. I am glad, however, this is a separate thing, and works a lot better than the previous ova we had. The 2 side chapters and 1 main chapter used previously were just not that good. Whilst here, the original chapter was creative and funny, plus it worked as a canonical chapter rather than a side chapter, which is why I'm assuming this mini episode is canon, just like the 3rd part to the ova.

Probably first timer ever that a pv for a new season will be 100% recommended for anybody wacthing the show. There are no spoilers for season 3, just a normal skit that is pretty meta. I think the art quality is slightly below what we are used to from the show normally, but that is more than made up by certain scenes which look incredibly and kaguyas normal over the top style. Really there is nothing else to say, it is fucking kaguya-sama, is unnaturally funny like it always has been, watch it if you have watched the first two seasons.
