Can an anime series without fan service and an edgy and overpowered MC score a perfect 10? YES. Look no further, this is the one. The jokes are actually funny without being sleazy, the characters are very likeable, and the plot wholesome without being boring. It gives us what we want and in just the right amount. And yes, thank you, and I mean it, for giving us an MC who is not OP or sleazy or edgy for once. Thank you. I'm just so sick of shounen anime targeting horny teenagers for viewership. I mean, fan service is great and all, but if ecchiis the only thing a series could offer then I might as well just watch some hentai.

I dropped this show for some unknown reason and I am just so glad that I picked it back up. Welcome to demon school Iruma is a show that is carried by its characters and it treats each and every character with serious TLC. Every single character that surrounds Iruma and his posse is super interesting from a secret idol to a tsundere teacher that school and family that surrounds Iruma are a blast. When I picked up this show again I binged it in about 3 days and I really couldn't pull myself away. It manages to be funny, romantic, exciting, and action-filled while stillfeeling balanced. Iruma is a great lead and the writers are truly gifted when it comes to creating fun scenarios for Iruma to find himself in, especially with the evil cycle that he went through. The world that Iruma finds himself in is so bright and lively that you always forget that he is in hell and despite all of these great things about that show I still feel that people are sleeping on it. I think that it is a really strong 9 and you should watch it

Honestly, when I started watching this anime at the beginning I kinda felt bad for Iruma and him having his soul sold to a demon. But after watching the entirety of it, it's shown that Sullivan cares way more for Iruma and it's so cute to him and Iruma thru life in the netherworld. The storytelling is just amazing and I haven't been hooked on an anime like this one before. This all extends to the characters and the relations between them and how they grow up during the anime. I have refrained from posting anything more about the anime cause I urge people to watchit as you won't regret it. I hope the creators do their best for S3 and improve on the story.

Welcome to demon school really comes into its own in season two of the anime. Its AMAZING. If season one felt incomplete and slow paced, season 2 blows it out of the water. The best thing about season 2 is really how the author manages to turn very slice of life relatable school things into amazing action packed stories. They are true to life and incredibly enjoyable to watch. Once again, the story continues to deliver on its masterclass of relationship development. The friendships, the mentorships, the rivalries, are all so well done and incredibly non toxic while showing a good dose of growth. For all thecharacters you wish you saw more of, dont worry. Season 2 really develops the misfits class as well bringing new characters into the fray. It also delivers well in its reveals as they have been well prepared, like an investment that has paid off. Again, the best is yet to come. Season 3 is coming this October 2022 and it will continue to develop the misfit class while delivering one of the best and most anticipated arcs from the manga. I would recommend this whole heartedly to anyone, without caution for genre or anything. Plain and simple, its a serotonin boost that is sure to make you fall in love with each new release.

Second season of this series has been good for us. We have evil circle Iruma, the introduction of Baramu and Ronove, Iruma date with Amelie, Walter park incident and of course another Valac family song. I admit I enjoyed this season and I just hope the third season can do well too. If you people haven't touch this series you should start watching it from first season. It is just comedic and fun story about how Iruma (normal human) that have to study in Demon School. How he can survive for three years? Can he become the next demon lord? It is just a wholesome easystory to follow. In conclusion you cannot skip this season 2. If I am not wrong after I read the manga, the third season will have huge surprise for us. Just enjoy the show it is not some heavy hitter anime that force you to think right.

I really loved the first season, and in preparation for season 2 I rewatched it. Boy did the first arc (first 3 episodes) of S2 absolutely kill all of my hype. It focused on one of the standout characters from S1, and attempted to tackle some very heavy topics.. But honestly they fumbled in the worst ways possible. I was ready to drop it, but I pushed through one more episode and I'm so glad I did. The rest of the season quickly overshadowed all of my initial concerns with some truly inspiring and genuinely excellent moments - artisticly, musically, and especially in character development. I must give aparticular shoutout to the inventiveness of various characters' special abilities and especially the creator's refusal to embrace power creep. It's very refreshing that the main characters can't simply breeze through every encounter, and that the show's adults are actually competent - without turning into AOT. Still, it's hard not to feel like the lack of consistency is really starting to hurt the show, and I really hope in season 3 they can do a better job of balancing everything out.

Very solid follow up.While there isn't as much character development as S1,there is a lot of new stuff & new dynamics that enter the fray.I love how the show is able to give so much credence to every character: all of them have well-chalked out personalities, backstories and character moments. While initially I was a bit hazy there are some amazing eps which establish these 'side characters' as concrete.Iruma keeps running into danger but we see how he has affected those around him.In his quiet and unassuming way,he's managed to change almost everyone him very deeply.Ameri is another fantastic addition to the long list of great charactersof the show. After the central character, she clearly stands out as a close runner-up.There is a lot of action, more mythology building, new relationships, some 'evil',comedy, romance and the full shebang. As usual the season ends where you are left wanting more.If the anime can keep this up it will be well on course for the 'one for the ages' tag.

Second season of iruma, we see how he unfolds in his school life. The anime is beautiful, I don't know what it has but I love how you see the development of the characters. There is an episode full of romance and that enchanted me by God what a beautiful couple there is there, I hope that is fulfilled. Besides, at no time do you get bored, new things always happen but you want to know more about the protagonists. If you saw the first season and you are thinking of seeing the second, I don't know what you are doing right now, go andwatch it. If you didn't see the first season right now, watch the first one, and then this one because it's a gem, I didn't expect anything from this anime and I loved it. I am a huge fan.

Can't wait for the 3rd season for Iruma. I enjoyed very much this season. But this season only have 21 episode. I hope the next season thestudio production will make 24 episodes for the next season. This anime proves that an anime doesn't need some grand and epic plot or some breathtaking animation quality to be enjoyable. Throughout the show, I enjoyed this show even if there was not much of the main plot moving instead, we got the important character development of Iruma on a daily basis side and other supporting characters getting to shine. This show proved that why a story and the way you present a story in an anime are so important. The characters were lovable as always, they have their own unique personalities which is a sign of a great anime. And I really look forwardto season 3, in which they gonna develop their magic to learn more spells and that means more character development, which means a great season 3.

I feel like at this point, the show just kind of threw out the idea of Iruma trying to be discreet in his new demon school life. Less of a criticism more of an observation since the events here clearly show that we’re not really able to do that plot anymore. Story: Iruma surviving this long in a demon-riddled hellscape is nothing short of a miracle given the death-defying events that happened in Season 1 what with that magic bomb, giant bird, and murderous classmates turned allies. So, does Season 2 do more of the same thing? …Yes. But with more of a personal twist due tothe nature of the events that happen here. While I chalked up Season 1 of Iruma-kun as a demon-themed high school story, Season 2 falls under the category of enriching the story towards something more personal while also managing to have some larger than life battle scenarios that happen because a) plot and b) we’re in the netherworld, so giant magical creatures are a must. A greater majority of the runtime this time around is spent on filling out more details in the Misfit class, as well as exploring the ambitions and goals for members in the main cast so there’s something more tangible for them to work towards. True, we didn’t really get that much of an answer towards what everyone wants to achieve (Ameri seems to be the only one who has a concrete goal), but getting a lot of characters to think and ponder what their end goal might be is definitely a step towards the right direction. In terms of plot however, the show is surprisingly wishy washy in what it wants to do. Does it want to be an epic battle series where demon children are battling monsters and fight an imposing threat that might disrupt the current state of the demon world? Or does it want to be a cute slice of life series with demon elements, musical numbers, and lots and lots of school activities? I don’t know and neither does the show apparently. Story arcs fall into one of these two categories, and while on their own they’re surprisingly competent and often times fun to watch, the resulting cohesion between the arcs feel a bit wonky. Personally I adore the Evil Cycle arc cause it brought something refreshing to the tempo of the series, but once that was over, it was neither mentioned again nor did it ever really get brought up again save for the fact that there’re some lasting consequences as a result of Iruma’s actions in that arc. Which creates some weird disconnect that doesn’t let the series flow as naturally as I wish it did. On top of that, the setup towards any ‘big bads’ or main antagonistic force feels slow and is largely absent from the series as a whole. I wish there was something more tangible with the Six Fingers, but since it was set up so late in the season I guess there wasn’t really much time left to do anything with since the last few episodes feel very meandering and a little random despite their fun subject topics. Personally, I feel like if the show really wants to push a final boss scenario, more time should be dedicated to it in Season 3 since at the moment it’s just a small blip in the show as a whole. In spite of that though there aren’t really many complaints I have with Iruma-kun. It’s still a surprisingly competent story with few if any abhorrent qualities outside of some story structure issues. I would love to see more Evil Cycle stuff since it feels like such a waste to not use that again, and the aura that shit brought to the series sucked me in more than anything else this show has thrown at me thus far. Characters: Going back to the theme of ‘ambition’ and how all of the characters are more or less centered that idea of personal goals, most of the qualities that Iruma exhibited in Season 1 with his meek and often scared personality is…somewhat washed away. He’s definitely a more interesting character; reflecting on his past mistakes and trying to understand folk more are qualities that he’s gained over the course of the season. But in spite of that, he’s still Iruma. Meaning he’s going to get dragged away by random characters to do or participate in something that may or may not set flags or progress the story in a meaningful manner. I’m going to mention the evil cycle again only because it’s the one time Iruma’s character does a complete 180 and the dramatic shift in tone was something that really drew me to his (temporary) character. I hope to see more in the future, but only time will tell. For now, Iruma remains as a fairly inoffensive protagonist who sits at the top by being a ray of sunshine in this overwise devilish landscape. Which for my money is better than a lot of other things he could’ve been. And then there’s Ameri, who really got a lot more attention to her than I expected. While I’m all for having more of her character on display, the moe gap direction that they went with her character are things I have mixed feelings about. A greater majority of her personality is centered around being the student council president who rules with an iron fist with the occasional shoujo manga influence on the side. While I’m not against the romantic subplot angle that they were going with with Iruma (because that was honestly kind of expected when they first introduced her), a part of me wishes they dumbed that down a little bit. The show really liked pushing the gap moe angle with Ameri to the point that at times it became her only character trait as a result of her new ambitions. I like Ameri a lot personally, and while I generally do like lovesick characters in these sorts of shows, I feel like there was a more appropriate balance that the show could’ve went for in order to achieve a less overbearing result. And then there’s the misfit class, who for this occasion I’m throwing Asmodeus and Clara into simply because they don’t get too much dedicated screentime themselves. The misfit class got the gold star treatment this time, as many arcs gave more screentime to these seemingly low-class set of individuals. Power sets, personalities, personal motivations, and other secret or fun tidbits are revealed extensively in this season, which I really appreciate since to some extent, they were the core side characters that surrounded Iruma beyond the two friends that he spends the most time with. And having them actually do stuff and be important to the plot instead of being in the background is a treat in and of itself. Other side characters like Al (who is the best new edition by the way) and Balam-sensei help add more color to the cast and have had a generally positive impact to the series as a whole. To be honest, there’s very little about the cast that I can really complain about because there hasn’t been anything damning enough for me to call these characters out as bad characters. I certainly detest Ronove and everything he stands for, but even he is by no means a bad character. That and I’m willing to give the show the benefit of the doubt since season 3 gives the opportunity for more character development, and I’m all for seeing the villains get more time devoted to them and actually explain how they plan of ‘reverting the demon world to chaos’. Aesthetics: I remember citing Iruma-kun as a show that reminded me of a children’s cartoon without actually being that much of a children’s cartoon. (Mostly due to the lack of ecchi factors in a school anime which is a surprising rarity these days?!) The visuals certainly haven’t changed much, which isn’t something I’m all that surprised by. The show still looks colorful with the neat Halloween vibes everything has going for it. My only real complaint is the lack of high action or movement since a lot of the action scenes are mostly still frames and panning shots. Which feels a little lazy since I feel like those scenes could have a lot more impact if they were done with movement and smears instead of stills, but it’s not really that much of a detriment to not have that. Just a missed opportunity I feel. There’s also a significant lack of really cool stills that the previous season had. There’re a few, but nowhere near as many as I thought there would be. Neither of the songs this time around really hit me as hard as the first pair. Probably because the first pair was really catchy and neither ‘No! No! Satisfaction’ or Kokoro Showtime really hit me in the same way those other songs did. They’re catchy for sure, but not in that ear-grating stuck in your head way that I expected them to be. Final Thoughts: For a show that ended up being kind of a throwaway pick the first time I watched it, I’m glad the show is starting to live up to its potential with more worldbuilding, personal stories, and a streak of basically zero ecchi because surprise, you can make a competent series without any sexual fanservice. Coming into this, I expected Season 2 to have something a bit more drastic since Season 1 ended with Evil Cycle Iruma as its hook for when Season 2 eventually dropped. And while it didn’t completely do everything I wanted, I’m still happy because the show as a whole never has the potential to do bad. At worst the arc is average, but the show is never bad. And that fascinates me. But if I may be so bold as to point out a personal nitpick, I’d love to know why Eiko is once again basically cut out from the series and again, is shown to have a very similar design to a different character. Like I’m glad you turned down some of the more annoying reccuring jokes in the series, but the fact that you’re doing the fangirl dirty like this is a crime and I don’t like it. (Yes, only cater to me because I as a faceless reviewer on the internet writing this in a different language to the people making this show have personal stake in the future of this side character who doesn’t really matter in the long run.) Personally, I’m looking forward to Season 3. Iruma certainly isn’t the most compelling series I’ve had the pleasure of viewing, but it has enough about it that I’m satisfied enough to keep going. It’s a fun series all around after all, with just enough heartfelt moments, action, and amusing comedy to keep the train going in spite of any lingering concerns that I may have. And these days, anything fun to watch is worth its weight in salt.

TL;DR Improved since the first season, especially on topics of story, character development and comedy. Has annoying "musical" moments and few filler episodes, but overall very enjoyable and downright hilarious. 9/10 Scores: -Story: 8/10 -Art: 9/10 -Sound: 8/10 -Character: 9/10 -Enjoyment: 10/10 Overall: 9/10Review: START! So, we're back for another season of Iruma-kun messes up the underworld - and let me tell you - we enjoyed it. This season was downright hilarious: it played by its strong points featuring a very expressive grandpa Sulivan, an angry as always Kalego-sensei, a more daring Ameri-chan and a braver (but still oblivious) Iruma. And for my personal favorite... Caim Kamui (the owl gentleman). We saw a lot of character development and the story is progressive at an alright pace. There are many things I would like to see: more spells, more serious fights, more classes, some moves in the romantic field but... this season was great nonetheless. It leaves me with a feeling of hope rather than letdown. It has reached the crucial point where its full of potential and it delivers on all fields equally. All that remains is to see if it will deliver accordingly on season 3. (However, it must work extra hard for some characters... *cough cough* Azz-azz *cough* Clara *cough*) Music was well... not that amusing. Personally I'm not a fan of musical intervals/acts so I just fast-forwarded most of the songs I didn't like. Valacs (aka Clara's family) goofy alright, but in all seriousness I don't want to watch a 20-minute episode of the writer's fever high dream or something. Especially right after a good, juicy, intense episode. It feels like a bad, pointless filler. The soundtrack was.. there I guess. I really liked it during the fighting episodes (I like "Ko Akuma" to be honest...) and especially during the romantic episode and the finale. There is potential for great soundtracks, I'd like to see more! And please cut back on the Valac stuff again... half an episode per season is more than enough. :P Now, the reason I say this is a 10/10 in enjoyment is because of the comedy. I absolutely love chibi Sulivan. Animation is on point, voice acting is impeccable and the jokes are so natural and silly, it's just great. I would easily watch an entire episode dedicated to Sulivan's daily life - be it serious or simply Iruma-centered. Additional hilarious characters include: Kalego's moody outbursts and Caim's overreactions. I'm telling you, pure gold. WARNING: MINI SPOILER Oh, the romantic episode was fun too. Ameri is incredibly cute and I want to see her get together with Iruma. I wish he finds the courage or the brain-power to realize her intentions. This is a very chill anime. I would recommend this to almost anyone who wants to have a good laugh. I'm curious how it will develop. I'm wondering if we'll see the old Demon King, if Iruma is related to him or perhaps... if Iruma were to turn bad all of a sudden. As I said, this is the point of endless potential. I'm hooked and I'm excited. (Go Ameri! <3)

Half of the time I feel like this anime is just a leisurely, fun slice of life. The other half of the time I find myself really enjoying Iruma and the gang getting some progression going. The first season was a nice watch, but this season was personally much more enjoyable, even if hypothetically the second arc wasn't as amazing as it was. It's a great combination of relaxing, wholesome, and exciting experiences, and watching Iruma is just really fun. I'm sure if this gets more seasons that Iruma-kun will probably be one of my favorite animes, as it's a fun watch without needing tobe too flashy. It really was nice getting to watch this weekly, so hopefully it does come back around in the near future.

I enjoyed every single episode of this season. Humour is great, animation was TOP NOTCH when it needed to be, the story and art style feel really original and refreshing, characters are likeable, sometimes even more than the MC. OP and ED songs may not have been as catchy as the previous season, but they still fit the show pretty well. With plenty of moments filled with laughs from funny absurdity, to serious atmosphere, to action scenes, to romantic moments with the potential of unleashing waifu wars in forums, both young and veteran viewers will surely find something to enjoy in this show. You can almost feelthe love people from the studio put into making this when you start noticing even little details like those changing 'easter eggs' in the op and ed songs throughout the anime. For a shounen anime, this one gets a 10/10 from me.

( no spoilers and just an honest review ) Deym what a way to end the season. I'm sure you will never regret watching this anime. The way how the Studio did absolutely their best to bring this masterpiece is really commendable despite the threat of viruses these days. Love how they tweak the Sounds and OST's to the best. All the Music is not generic and auto-tuned, Concerts are well executed. The art itself is an eye refresher, The way the VA's and animators portray the character's feelings is almost perfect. After that, they immediately announced that there is season 3 coming. Believe me, this is oneof the rare anime where the Studio really put their mind and hearts into creating something that will mesmerize the Audience to the absolute best. Tons of laughs and wtf moments are expected while watching this series. If you want to take a break into serious things and calm a bit maybe this anime is for you. Story 8 | Art 9 | Sound 10 | Character 9 | Enjoyment 10 | Overall 9

(THIS REVIEW CONTIANS SPOILERS) This show was very enjoyable, the setting, pacing, art, music and action were fantastic. The story was good, but the main issue is the lack of focus on other characters, we'll get deeper to that. So, the characters, the main cast (Iruma, Clara, Azz and Ameri) received great attention and growth, even Sabnock got nice growth. However, the rest of the cast recieved little to no growth, the only time the show moderately focused on them, was the convincing the teacher's arc (bad boy Iruma arc). There is also the time when team Kalego fought, but that onlygave minimal character focus, and only to Jaz. The new cast was really fun to watch, and their expositions were beautifully done. First Ali-san, he expounded on the magic system and gave us a really fun time, his concept is nice and the execution was good. Next is Ronove, basically the comical relief of the show, but then again this show has pretty comical characters, anyway he is a great addition to the cast and his role in the arcs that he was in was great for a side character. Last is Baram, his presence paves a way to Kalego's backstory which was nice, but that's not his only role, he plays the 'I know your secret' role which brought great interactions. To wrap it up, this show is great and you should watch it, the music, art, comedy and action were amazing. The side characters need grown, however season 3 sounds like it will accomplish that. Sorry I didn't talk about the story, anyway can't wait for next season!

*This Review contain some spoilers* I kinda like this anime already because of the season 1 and the season is actually very good to me it is funny , there is action , there is magic , I would say there is also some wholesome moments between characters but the season 2 of this anime is just making me like the anime itself more…the more I watch this anime the more I like it…the thing that interested me the most is that there is also some improvement of characters and the anime show some good side of Kalego , Naberius (Home teacher of abnormal class) andeven show some past of his with Shichirou, Baramu (Teacher Of Demonic History & Mythical Zoology, Imaginary Beings Researcher) and Opera (a servant working under Lord Sullivan)…and I didn’t expect that Opera to be Kalego senpai in the past and how cool he is… speaking of cool. when Iruma entered his evil cycle , he look badass and even his actions are too… So let me say this again , I just like this anime but not like my favorite or anything…It is one of my top anime and even If I rewatch it a lot time I think I still like it.

I need not explain what makes Iruma-kun such a great show, that now with Season 2, it retains much of the femme fatale and action that is Season 1 and more with more enriching content from Osamu Nishi's manga. If you haven't had the time to go watch Season 1, please do not procrastinate and make yourself useful by binging that first before coming into this sequel. With Season 2, albeit still capturing the same essence of its setting with Iruma's cohesiveness towards the Misfit Class, comes new characters, not to mention new challenges as well to ascend to the throne of becoming the Demon Kingof their generation. The main trio of Iruma, Asomodeus a.k.a Azz-Azz and Clara are still just as enjoyable, if not more so with the involvement of the Misfit Class classmates, the new teachers like Balam Shichirou, and new irritable-lovable ones like Ronove Lumiere. AHHHH Ronove is class...class...class... Asthetically, Season 2's only upgrade is with its production values, that much akin to Season 1 giving most of its legs to the action department, uses its time to keep the same polish and deliver that polish to the small screen. Particularly with one of the big arcs of the manga, the Walter Park arc gives precedence to exact the same oomph as is Amy Kiriwo's school breakout in Season 1, so for those whom have watched Season 1, you know that the quality is there. Musically, the OST is just alright too. DA PUMP's sequel OP song, feels nothing of the iconic Season 1 OP "Magical Labyrinth" levels, but it's good enough. Same with the ED...it's just there. Overall, a pretty good sequel to continue the trend for people who love both the manga and/or the anime. Not the most impressive as usual, but hey I'll take whatever it can muster. And now we get ready for Season 3.
