Honestly, after all that Seirin has grinded for, a day to celebrate Kuroko's birthday is a nice switch of pace. Kuroko also playing with the GOM's and seeing them all bond together again after the disconnect they've been having throughout the series. Its nice. I love that during the match, some of the openings played and it gave me such a weird nostalgic feeling because we've made it far. Past the point where Kuroko was new and now to where he has new strengths and now old friends that have reunited with him. The Generation of Miracles and Kuroko has brought them back together again.

English. What a great episode, I think what was most expected from the series was this, a match between this group of extraordinary people in basketball, for me an episode that I think we all wanted and it fulfilled us in every way. Not only is it an episode in which this group of friends got together, it could be that they haven't played anything in the entire episode and have only put mini frames but I'm still satisfied, for me a great farewell to the series, not only do we see a farewell to the series but ends with a celebration towards the series itself (althoughthey reflect it as a birthday party), here are all these important characters who were with us all these seasons, a delight! For that reason, although I know that it is not the best episode for me, it was great, it is a worthy farewell to this basketball series, a highly recommended different episode if you have already seen the entire series.

They say preserve the best for last, that statement was never truer. After experiencing three long seasons of this intense show, they strike you with an episode that really manages to capture the full emotional might that hit you both wholesomely and bittersweetly at the same time. As the viewers get to know the characters throughout the series, this was a heartwarming wrap up that only makes you appreciate tyhe bonds they've grown together even moren and having it a coming of age story, to begin with really fills you with an exotic nostalgic feeling that almost chocks you to a degree.

This is what an OVA should be. Something that brings everyone together. There are no words to describe how amazing this was. I've re watched this two times already and plan to even more :)) Probably on kurokos birthday haha. I was laughing and smiling so much while watching this. It shows the generation of miracles personalities when they aren't rivals who are competitively playing one another. I got to see really special sides of all of them. I wish it was incorporated more in the actual show. This OVA was also a really good way to show what happened to Akashi after the matchand how he changed. Gave me a new perspective of him and now i'm a fat simp. Mr. Scissors will always stay in my heart I LOVE YOU GENERATION OF MIRACLESSS

Personally this's the best fan service I ever saw, definitely different from what usually others fan service presented. Most of the others are "too exaggerate harem" fan service, and to be honest it annoying. This's more like a continuation of the series, after the high tention from the last battle, this can be a cooling down phase. I don't want to spoil the story so I will only say this: "what momoi felt is really had good impression to me, it seems I feel the same emotion. And of course the end part is really made for the sake of fan service. Ahhh.. I think this is thekind of fan service that we need to see more of in anime. simple but really build a good emotion. Homework for anime creator.

If you like Kuroko and have watched the 3rd season then I feel (like other reviewers) that this is a must watch. It really does a lot to round out the story and give a lot of closure to the Generation of Miracles as well as to Taiga. It's kinda getting a present wrapped and topped with a cute bow. I would watch it 10 more times and have a happy smile on my face every time. There's nothing ground breaking here, though, so don't expect great action sequences or even outstanding animation. This is purely a special dedicated to giving thefans the closure they deserve. Good on the team for knowing that we needed this.

Kuroko no Basket Saikou no Present Desu This is an extra episode after Team Seirin win the Winter Cup Tournament. With Kuroko's Birthday on the line, the generation of miracles prepare a reunion to make him happy while Team Seirin planned a celebration for him. At this phase of story, it will clearly show how Kuroko is truly happy on the outcome of his efforts to make things right and how the others feel the same. Kuroko No Basket Anime Review By: Tadatoshi Fujimaki April 15, 2019 Overall: 10/10Plot: 10 Sports Anime genre have only one path to take, tournaments. Participating individually or by teaming up, it is the most common plot that exist. While this is not a unique one, it will be the author's capability how he manage to capture the interest of the viewer and excite them. This series focuses on students who love playing basketball. At first, I am really not interested on watching this anime. It is kind of absurd to think of a basketball story with extraordinary skills. But after trying it out, it made me realize that the plot of the story is great. I love the simplicity of it. The main reason of why the series moves forward and how it affects every branches of the story. Unrealistic as it may seem, the lesson is still there. The creator successfully stress out the core value when playing basketball. What also made me hook on this series is the directness of every plays all of the basketball teams have. Each play only last for an average of 5 to 6 episodes. Flashbacks are there but its only on a really minimum basis. You can enjoy watching all of the plays without so much cliffhanging and annoying side stories of the characters. Characters: 10 It is already a known that almost all of the characters on this series are super cool. It is the reason why most of the girl watched it, I think. Aside from that fact, the development of the characters can totally be seen along the story. The changes and realization they made make them more of a human. Though not skillfully speaking. Since there are so many characters, giving all of them the spotlight is hard. And that's whats amazing. The creator successfully introduce a past where most of the characters belong. That way, it won't be hard tackling each of the characters past and it gives the story more time in other scenarios that needs to be displayed. I love how the story never depend on the back story of the characters so much that it will take too much time to explain it. Sound and Animation: 10 Perfect. My phone is full of Kises' picture. Yes, every character is so handsome but it is not only this. The animation of the story is really great. Parts where the characters show dribbling, passing, shooting or even guarding their opponents is really detailed. I love how they show the movements of the characters playing on the court, as well as their expression depending on the feeling they have. Should I also mention the voices? Yes, theirs are really cool and perfectly matches the looks of the characters. Enjoyment: 10 I am not really a fan of basketball. I do not hate it, but I do not also like it. This is the first anime basketball which got me hooked. Due to so much enjoyment watching it, I've finished it in a more faster time than the other series I tried. Every episode will make you want more, more plays, more actions on the court, more characters to encounter with. It is really exciting, and fun to watch. Ending: 10 This is the best route to take for an ending on this series. The main goal of Kuroko has been met after winning the nationals with his team. But no, the story did not really move forward just because they had to win. It is because he had to bring back his loss previously. He had to bring back all of the people precious to him and he did. Fixing things that is broken and making them realize the most important thing when doing the thing they love. I am content with the ending of this series. It is simple, yet it will made you realize something important.

I'm warning you all right now, this made me cry. So, look out if you're looking to watch this. P.S. there's going to be spoilers for the series because this IS a sequel to the final episode, so I assume that people reading this have seen the entire anime. Essentially, this episode is a refreshing little story that takes place a few weeks after the Winter Cup. What you're going to get is a day dedicated to Kuroko. He spends his birthday playing street ball with the GoM, and he spends his night with all his friends at a birthday party. Normally, I wouldn't have muchto say about a single episode, but I have a lot to say about this one. The first thing I need to mention is that this episode is a great way to see the GoM interacting with each other all together outside of a game. Momoi actually compares the way they are currently with the way they were in middle school. However, I feel like it was different simply because they've all come out of the Winter Cup with a loss, and in turn, they've come out respecting Kuroko's basketball more. Not to mention, Akashi is actually Akashi so you'll get to see the GoM interact with him for the first time since early on in their Teiko days. My favorite parts of this were seeing Akashi be light and free, seeing Aomine and Kuroko like they used to be, and seeing Kuroko being happy in the middle of all of it. Secondly, if there were a few faceoffs you wish you could've seen in Kuroko no Basket, you may get a snip of them in this episode, which is nice. Personally, for me, I wanted to see Murasakibara and Midorima face off as well as Akashi and Aomine, but that didn't happen. However, you do get to see Kise playing against Akashi, Aomine playing against Murasakibara, and a bit of Midorima playing against Kise. The party portion of the episode was really special as well because not only is Seirin High there, but so are the GoM, Takao, and Himuro. Again, they interact in the best ways, especially now that it's post-Winter Cup. Everybody shows respect for each other (minus Murasakibara to Kiyoshi, obviously), and they all have a great time together. It really was a touching episode to see Kuroko being appreciated and celebrated by everyone he affected through his basketball. The movie Last Game is similar in that the GoM, Kagami, and Kuroko are working together, but seeing everyone hang out without the added stipulation of a game coming up was great. Even if you don't like OVAs or specials, I really recommend you watch this one. All those beloved characters in one room together really fulfilling. You'll probably cry, though. So, good luck.

It was a super cute OVA episode. Just cute. I like how the gang of skittles gathered together too. A longer review; It's been a couple of months since I finished the last season of Kuroko no Basket. But wow, this short special OVA episode was just amazing. I like how everyone tried their best to make Kuroko's day and it sure looked like it worked. The story gets a 10 because of all the potential each character showed in the episode and how they actually wanted to work together for the day to work out.The art was great as usual. Sound was good and a couple of ending songs took part in the middle of the episode so I enjoyed listening to that again. Character, 10 of course. I mean, the main characters are each just unique and that. I enjoyed this 10/10 Super cute episode and we do see some funny moments, too. Overall I enjoyed it very much, it was just so cute.

OMG this is my FAVORITE EPISODE from Kuroko no Basket. I really enjoyed this OVA so much. And the feels! omg, you have no idea! I literally felt the same way as Momo in this episode, I nearly cried because seeing them together again being friends after all the things they've been thru :'( I love Teikou so much, this is why Season 3 is my fav since there's episodes about when they were still in Teikou. So I watched all the other OVA first before this, and I'm glad I watched this last cause this is truly beautiful. Seeing The Generation of Miracles got back together again, ittouched my heart :') I can't wait for Kuroko no Basket: Last Game, I want to see them in the court together again! :D

FINALLY!!!! If you're a KNB fan you will surely love this OVA. A must-watch indeed. This OVA takes place after KnB Season 3. So basically, days after the last fight with Rakuzan. The OVA has its Fan-Service Air around it which basically makes every KnB Fan (such as myself) to lose their mind while watching. So this OVA has the Kiseki no Sedai ( GoM) gathered and play basketball. And also it's Kuroko's Birthday! which makes this OVA more interesting. Its simple, given the fan-service, and it makes you watch it KnB all over again. (Its the feeling that struck me, so I'm gonna rewatch KnB after this.lol) All the characters, GoM, Seirin and others had their share of moments in the OVA even if its only a 24-minute clip. This OVA is a must-watch for every KnB fans. I recommend you watch it now. Its light-hearted and gives you the feeling of missing KnB all over again.

This is a special, something beyond the main story, and as such it must be viewed. There are not revelations, no secrets, no nothing. Just pure enjoyment. If you can watch it like that, it's almost impossible not to like it. It's hard to analyse a special as a whole, specially when there's a main anime behind it, but... Story: 8/10 The story itself is quite simple and you don't have to be a veteran anime viewer to predict how it's going to end, but again, it's rather how i'ts told than what's told that meke the special so enjoyable. Art: 8/10 Same art as the main series, which is quitegood, there are some nice details and there's no abuse of CGI for the street basketball game. Easy to watch. Sound: 8/10 Again, it doesn't go or try to go away from the main series, GRANRODEO gives KnB a nice touch; the voices are the same, which are quite good, and the BGM helps and goes well with the story. Character: 9/10 Kuroko, Kagami, Aomine, etc. They are the same of the anime, but changed after all that's happened, and the change is well shown, the are no strange things. Enjoyment: 9/10 Pure enjoyment. A special to watch, enjoy and go out for a buguer after it. It will probably leave you with a smile, and that's great in every way. I'd highly reccomend the Saikou no Present Desu to any KnB fan or viewer who has finished the anime.

This TV special for one of my favorite shows of all time made me feel really good and it made me miss KnB even more then I already did. The story here is quite basic, basically Kuroko reunites with the generation of miracles on his birthday and they all celebrate after. The characters are all still as like able as ever with their own personalities and quirks. The art isn't as great as the main series but it's still very solid animation and art. The voice acting had no notable flaws and were very enjoyable to listen to. Overall I enjoyed thisSpecial very much and if you are a fan of KnB you have no excuse to not watch this. This was a great Christmas gift from one of my favorite shows ever.

This OVA is the absolute best kind of fan service. The kind that makes you smile, laugh and feel all fuzzy inside. This is the kind of fan service that we need to see more of in anime. The story is simply there for the sake of fan service but I'm alright with that. It was extremely satisfying seeing the generation of miracles back together after all of the tension they all had in the original series. The characters are still amazing and seeing how the result of their transformation all of their characters went through in the original series made me appreciate the series as awhole even more. All of the characters interaction in this episode was the true star in this OVA. Seeing all of the old Teiko members without the tension shown in the original series was so satisfying to see and is something that I really cannot get enough of. The animation is decent. It wasn't mind blowing and it didn't need to be. The art and character designs are as still as good as ever. If you have seen the original series you know what to expect. I don't think I have ever enjoyed an OVA before and I don't think I'll find one this enjoyable in a long time. This is an absolute must for anyone who enjoyed the original series.
